Private-Label Bath and Body Products for Weekend Craft Vendors

Adding bath and body products to a craft-market booth can expand an assortment, but the range needs to fit your customers, cash flow and selling time. A small number of clearly explained products is usually easier to merchandise than dozens of scents with no reorder plan.

Choose Your Selling Model

If you want to carry established branded products, review wholesale. If you want finished products under your own brand, review private-label manufacturing. If you intend to fill containers yourself, compare bulk formulations and account for the operational work that comes with them.

These are different programs. Do not assume an unlabeled product includes custom formulation or that a production minimum applies to every package size.

Build a Focused Opening Range

Choose a few formats that make sense together: perhaps a bath soak, a body scrub and a soap. Compare finished bath salt soaks, artisan handmade soaps and suitable scrub formats by ingredients, directions and retail presentation. Make sure you can explain the difference between variants without relying on unsupported health claims.

Calculate the Margin You Actually Keep

Include product cost, labels, packaging, freight, payment fees, booth fees, sampling supplies, waste and your selling labor. A difference between retail price and product cost is not the final profit. Allow for slow-selling scents and stock that remains after the event.

Choose a price point customers understand and a package you can display, transport and replenish efficiently. Avoid a range that needs constant discounting to clear inventory.

Prepare Product Information

Keep the complete ingredients and use directions available. Describe aroma, texture, format and intended use accurately. Do not promise that a cosmetic scrub detoxifies the body or that a soak treats pain. Sample presentation should be clean and suited to the product.

Test and Reorder

Track units sold by product and scent, customer questions, average order value and leftover stock. Use that information to refine the next event’s assortment. A focused repeat seller can be more valuable than a large range that is difficult to explain.

Before ordering a branded manufacturing run, review our private-label cost planning guide and confirm the current minimums, package requirements and timing for the proposed project.
